Very nice site - I'll look forward to becoming a CMA member.
I'm descended from an Edward MacLean (b1824) from "Pictou" and a Mary Jane Cameron (1829), a daughter of Duncan Cameron a son of the Hector/Alexander Cameron. Edward was the son of a William MacLean and a Janet McDonald, but I have been unable to find out much about William and Janet. Any help would be appreciated.

My mother was Margaret MacLean from Antigonish, NS. She was the daughter of Charles Allen MacLean and Catherine Druhan MacLean. Margaret moved to Boston which has a very large population of Atlanatic Canadians and became an R.N. I am very interested in CLAN MACLEAN ATLANTIC....a great site! |

Great Site. I am a MacLean born in Ontario, but with roots and a summer cottage in PEI. Father from Montague, PEI and buried in Lower Montague(1982). For-fathers immigrated from Scotland in 1832 (so states our Letter of Introduction) and am still piecing together our history. We were carriage builders. |
